Down East Singers Presents: Handel's Messiah Parts II and III

Down East Singers presents the Easter Portion of Handel's immortal oratorio Messiah, probably the most famous choral composition ever written. Parts II and III deal with the triumph of life over death and are filled with unforgettable music such as the Hallelujah Chorus. Anthony Antolini conducts the Mozart Mentors Orchestra with soloists Erin Chenard, Jazmin DeRice, David Myers and John David Adams. Concert length: approximately 1.5 hours.

Tickets at Flaura Flowers and Wine, 185 Main St., Thomaston, The Grasshopper Shop, 400 Main St., Rockland and online at downeastsingers.org. Admission $25. Students 18 and younger free, but they must have a ticket.
