Latin Dance Night with Primo Cubano

  • Watts Hall Community Arts 174 Main Street Thomaston, ME, 04861 United States (map)

Get ready to dance the night away at Latin Dance Night featuring the vibrant sounds of Primo Cubano!

Let the rhythms of traditional Cuban dance music, known as “SON,” transport you to a world of warmth and energy. Primo Cubano, formed in 2007 by Paul D’Alessio after a transformative artist exchange trip to Trinidad De Cuba, brings the rich heritage of Son music to life. This genre, which originated in the early 20th century, is the foundation of many popular Latin styles today, including Salsa.

Primo Cubano showcases an incredible lineup of talented musicians: Paul D’Alessio on Tres Cubano and vocals, Marc Chillemi on trumpet, percussion, and vocals, Lenny Hatch on congas, bongo, and bell, Duane Edwards on upright bass, and Eric Winter on timbales, percussion, and vocals. Together, they create an exhilarating atmosphere, inviting you to join in the fun and experience the joy of dancing to their infectious rhythms.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Our dance parties often sell out, so we highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to secure your spot on the dance floor. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable night of music and dance!
