The Holiday season is swiftly approaching, and we've got a full slate of activities planned to help you get into the season!

December 2nd @ 10:00 am - Watts Hall is excited to be a part of Thomaston's 2nd annual Downtown Christmas Festival! This day of festive family-friendly fun includes a Holiday Market, reindeer scavenger hunt, snowman building competition, cookie & cocoa bar, and more! December 2nd @ 7:00 pm & December 3rd @ 3:00 pm - Maine-based KENMARC ENTERTAINMENT in collaboration with BROADWAY ON THE NORTH FORK (New York, NY) are bringing their exciting and original one-man version of the Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol" to New England this holiday season. December 8th @ 7:30 pm - The Down East Singers present their annual Holiday Concert. This year's concert is a collaboration between the Down East Singers and Halcyon String Quartet, and will feature the world premiere of Marianna Filippi’s To Maine, With Love, accompanied by a synchronous film created by filmmaker Luke Fatora. December 9th & 10th - For the second year, Watts Hall Community Players is hosting a Merry Mannequin Evergreen Extravaganza. Individuals or teams will spend Saturday in the hall transforming evergreen boughs into gorgeous holiday gowns.

The Hall, transformed into a magical evergreen gown wonderland, will then host a gala Reception from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, December 9th. Enjoy wine, hors d'oeuvres and live music while viewing the amazing gowns and having a chance to vote for your favorite creation.

Tickets for the Reception are $20 and available online at https://www.wattshallcommunityplayers.org or at the door. In the spirit of holiday giving all proceeds will go to support AIO Energy Assistance Program.

The Hall will reopen to the public by donation on Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 for viewing these amazing gowns and voting for your favorite. Come enjoy this special, enchanting way of celebrating the holiday season.

December 12th @ 7:30 pm - Down East Singers and the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist present their annual Messiah Sing. More info will be coming soon and will be available on the Down East Singers website: https://www.downeastsingers.org/concerts-events.

December 17th @ 2:30 pm - Watts Hall Community Players continues their annual tradition of presenting a live reading of A Child's Christmas in Wales. More info will be available soon on the WHCP website: https://wattshallcommunityplayers.org/
